We feel extremely fortunate to have a row home in a quiet neighborhood of Washington DC. DC offers a wonderful mix of urban and suburban amenities, and plenty of outdoor activities. Some of the things we love about the city are its numerous museums, parks, and cultural events. DC attracts people from all over the world, so we live in a diverse community, which we love.
On weekends at home, we can be found tending our garden, walking to the nearby farmer’s markets, and having friends over for a board game night. We enjoy going out to plays, trying new foods, and running in the parks around the DC region.
We are also fortunate to have an apartment in New York City and a family cabin in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia. After living in NYC, we decided to keep our apartment, which we use when we go back to visit a few times a year to catch up with friends, try new restaurants, and go to Broadway.
The family cabin has been in Ned’s family for generations. We love going there with Heathrow to spend time with family relaxing, playing cards, swimming in the river and hiking.
